3 Your message
Please write in your own words. Campaigns often ignore identical emails sent in bulk, so a short, personal message makes the most difference. You could include:
- Who you are and your connection to the BC Centre for Long COVID, ME/CFS and Fibromyalgia (BC-CLMF)
- Your story: how the clinic has helped you or someone you love
- Your ask: will they publicly commit to saving the clinic and its group visit model of 50 patients per visit before you vote on October 24?
Facts you can mention
- The BC-CLMF cares for more than 8,500 British Columbians with Long COVID, ME/CFS and Fibromyalgia.
- Most of its care happens in telehealth group medical visits.
- A new MSP billing rule caps those visits at 30 patients, cutting the clinic's direct patient care by about 40%.
- One-on-one telehealth visits cost about 7 times more.
- The clinic's use of groups slashes wait times to see a specialist.
Each email starts with “Dear” and that person's name, and ends with your name and riding.
